QR Code GeneratorPrivate, Instant, In Your Browser
Type a URL, some text, or Wi-Fi details and the QR code redraws instantly; one click downloads it as a crisp PNG ready for a poster, menu or slide. Here's what most people don't realise about "free" QR generators: many route your visitors through their own redirect domain so they can track scans — and disable the code if you don't pay. Ours encodes exactly what you type, straight onto a canvas in your browser. No account, no watermark, no expiry, and we never see the content.
Drawn on a canvas in your browser — no redirect service, no scan tracking, no expiry.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this QR code expire or stop working?
Never. The code encodes your text directly — there's no shortlink or redirect service in the middle that could shut down or start charging. As long as the content itself is valid, the printed code works forever.
What can I encode?
Any text up to a few thousand characters: URLs, plain messages, phone numbers (tel:+1234567890), email addresses (mailto:) or Wi-Fi credentials (WIFI:T:WPA;S:network;P:password;;). Shorter content produces a coarser, easier-to-scan code.
Is the content of my QR code private?
Yes. The code is drawn on a <canvas> element on your device and the PNG download is produced by your own browser. The text you encode is never transmitted — we couldn't track your scans if we wanted to.
What size and format is the download?
A PNG with a quiet-zone margin, rendered at high resolution — sharp enough for print at typical poster sizes. PNG keeps the modules pixel-perfect, which scanners prefer over compressed JPEGs.
