Days Between DatesPrivate, Instant, In Your Browser

Pick two dates and we'll count every day between them — as a plain day count and rephrased as weeks and days, which is usually what deadlines, rentals and training plans actually want. Leap years are handled by the calendar itself, not by a 365-day approximation. The math happens on your device; the dates you enter never leave this page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the count include both the start and end date?

The calculator counts the nights between the two dates — the standard difference. January 1 to January 2 is 1 day. If your use case counts both endpoints (some legal deadlines do), add one to the result.

Are leap years handled correctly?

Yes. We subtract the two calendar dates directly rather than assuming 365-day years, so February 29 is counted in leap years and skipped in the others — the result is exact for any range.

What if I enter the dates in the wrong order?

We simply count the distance between them, whichever comes first, so you never get a negative answer.

Are the dates I enter private?

Completely. The subtraction runs in your browser with no network request involved — we never see the dates, and neither does anyone else.
