Which setting saves the most space?
Usually the frame rate: dropping to 15 fps is barely noticeable and often halves the size. Reducing dimensions to 75% and colors to 128 shrinks it further with minimal quality impact.
Will the GIF still loop?
Yes — looping and timing are preserved; only the frame rate, size and palette change according to your settings.
Is it safe to convert GIFs online?
Yes. Unlike traditional online converters, this tool never uploads your files. The conversion runs entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly, so GIFs never leave your device — you can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
